Parking
House Rules
- 👟No shoes on the rugs please.
- 🎵Local laws require music be turned off at 10 pm.
- ❄️Turn off the heating/cooling in the shed when not in use.
- 🍖Clean the BBQ and high chair after you use them.
- 👠No skinny heels upstairs — the bamboo floors dent easily.
- 🐾Dogs use the front yard to potty only. Pet spray under the kitchen sink. Please let us know about accidents!
- 🚭No smoking. No incense. No parties.
House Basics
Heating
Heat rises! Turn on the fans — they're set to reverse and will push heat down from the ceiling. Turning on the upstairs heating also helps heat downstairs.
Coffee Machine
Water goes in the top left. Coffee filter and grounds on the top right. Hit start. Turn the dial for number of cups (2–4 or 5–9). Hit start again.
BBQ Grill
In the laundry room. Electric — can be used inside or outside.
Note: the grill may trip the electricity if the kitchen and dining room lights are on simultaneously. The electrical panel is in the master bedroom.
Backyard
If you uncover the outdoor furniture, please cover it back up to protect it from rain. Outdoor coffee table for the couches is in the shed.
Radio
The retro radio is a bluetooth speaker — pair your phone and enjoy!
Trash & Recycling
- Trash picked up Monday and Friday mornings
- Recycling picked up Wednesday morning — should not be bagged
- Pull the can forward for pickup. If cans are already out when you arrive, feel free to move them back.
🔥 Fire Pit
- 🪵Firewood available at Ace Hardware on your way into North Beach.
- ⚠️Take care in and around the fire pit — we are not liable for any accidents.
- 🗑️Do not leave waste (cans or food) in the fire pit.
- 💧Extinguish the fire with water before bed. Leave no trash behind.

🏖️ Beach Passes
On lanyards on the coat rack. Each pass covers 4 people. Required Memorial Day – Labor Day only. Free parking at the beach.

In the closet under the stairs. Beach towels in the linen closet upstairs. Please wash used towels before leaving if you can!

Check-Out Checklist
- ✓Leave 2 beach passes hanging on the coat rack.
- ✓Wash your dishes and run the dishwasher.
- ✓Take out the trash and recycling to the bins in front of the house. (Recycling clean, not bagged.)
- ✓Throw away food from fridge. Throw away coffee filter if you used it.

- ✓Clean and return any beach items or games you used.
- ✓Wipe down the pack-and-play with a wet wipe or cleaning spray if you used it.
