Discover "The Jewel of the Chesapeake Bay"

North Beach is the super-cute beach town near DC and Baltimore you've never heard of! North Beach was the vacation destination for Washington, DC and Baltimore residents until the 1950s when the Bay Bridge was built. The town has been on an upswing in recent years but maintains its small town vibe - featuring lots of great seafood and live music.

Beach, Boardwalk, and Wetlands

We have a small beach, a half-mile-long picturesque boardwalk, wetlands, fantastic restaurants and bars, an upscale marina club, and a bohemian coffee shop. Our local cheese shop sell produce from local farms. You can rent bikes and kayaks, go nature-spotting in the wetlands (our daily walk), or enjoy wine and cheese at one of the town's eateries.

Local Tips!

The beach charges non-residents for access but it is free when you stay with us. We provide loads of local tips - for kids, dogs, and rainy days!

Check out the Town's calendar for local events happening during your stay such as First Fridays (local vendors and music on the boardwalk on the first Friday of every month), the farmer's market every Saturday morning, and movies on the beach.
